When you talk as much as President Trump, you're bound to have some verbal slip-ups. I mean, I've even heard rumors that this sort of thing happens to great talk radio show hosts - but I'm not sure I believe it.

Seeing all the silly fuss about this reminded me of Barack Obama saying he had visited (or planned to visit) all 57 states.

When he said that, I chuckled - just like I did when President Trump called "Tim Cook," CEO of Apple, "Tim Apple." (See how that can be an easy mistake to make?)

And I would've had the same response had I done the same thing.

But instead of just getting a laugh out and some good-hearted humor out of this, some act as though Trump's an idiot. Give me a break. It happens to the best of us - and it is precisely what genuinely misspeaking sounds like.

By the way, in case you're wondering: Tim Apple's products are available in all 57 states.
