00 - Intro.
38 - The disappointment of not having a Joe Biden presidency.
20 - The Democrats still can only give us "3 old white guys & a Clinton."
10 - What do we make of the Biden decision? Was it a sophisticated head-fake to keep us from talking about Hillary? Did they conclude Hillary would survive the Benghazi controversy and be unbeatable for the nomination? Or should we take him at his word?
02 - Career politicians (like Biden) make every decision based on focus groups, testing, data, consultant feedback, etc.
02 - Hillary testifies before Benghazi Committee today. Just one more act from her that can be spun by the media and her surrogates so that they can say she's testified multiple times & that there is nothing left for her to say or do about this. Ironically, she's never said or done anything about this.
43 - Maybe we take Joe Biden at his word. He's had a long career in politics & he is grieving the loss of his son. It's hard for me to believe this decision isn't politically calculated, though.
23 - We're dealing with Democrats - so anything is possible.
58 - The writing seems to be on the wall: Paul Ryan will be the new Speaker of the House. This became very likely when a supermajority of House Freedom Caucus members pledged to support him.
28 - Tempting to blame the House Freedom Caucus for going along with a less-than-Conservative Speaker. But this whole thing was possible because of them. Boehner was (perhaps) going to be removed from Speaker (vacate the Chair), so he preemptively resigned. They were the group that was going to remove him. A quick review of how we got here with the Speaker of the House situation.
15 - Did the House Freedom Caucus make a good compromise? Did they capitulate? Did the just plain sell-out?
09 - I think the House Freedom Caucus is going to tell us that Paul Ryan will be a fair Speaker who will allow them to have a voice in crafting legislation, making amendments, etc.
08 - One thing that bothers me about Paul Ryan is that he wants to change House Rules to prohibit the possibility of vacating the Chair (removing the Speaker) - like some planned to do with John Boehner.
00 - The next Speaker actually owes it to us (Conservatives) that our voices will not be silenced as they were under Boehner. We don't owe the new Speaker anything. Backwards. It's similar to the way Barack Obama got extra power in the handling of the so-called Iran Deal. That's foolishly believing "it will be different this time."
50 - Hillary's testimony before House Benghazi Committee. She will stonewall. Delay. Obstruct. Expect the same. She i
s scripted, disingenuous & focused only on optics. The question is this: what are our guys going to do?
00 - The New York Times did a bit of "fact-checking" on Hillary's email nonsense. They do a little pseudo-reporting on this so that they can try to convince us that they've covered every angle of this story, but nothing is here.
54 - The strategy of the Left on this is to say a bunch of words, but never really say anything. And then, when we question the topic, they can claim it's been exhaustively covered.
45 - Keep in mind that we didn't even know about these secret emails until the Benghazi Committee uncovered it.
00 - Hillary is an inside-DC person, and she is supposedly sophisticated, intelligent human being. So if she knew that information she may receive on her email may, at some point in the future, become classified or Top Secret, why ever put any emails on the insecure server?
44 - How can Hillary set-up a secure server? She can't even put 2 emails on a smart phone.
19 - If information can be become classified at some point down the road, it should never be on a private server. Ever. It's irresponsible. It's dangerous. And it could cost lives.
49 - The prettiest girl on earth has been found - according to science. Yep. Case closed. And is this sexist, by the way?
48 - Wrap-up & outro.
