Wards Apparel: Indiana’s largest jean and fashion store – with conservative, Christian roots

John Ward is a part of the fourth generation of the conservative, Christian family that has owned and operated Wards Apparel since 1972 when Jack and Carolyn Ward brought it to life. Jack dreamed of providing good quality clothing – for both work and play – at an affordable price and he did just that. As time went on, inventory grew to include more brands and more of a variety of clothing, shoes and accessories. Today, you’ll find a variety of sizes and styles for the entire family.

While John grew up in a conservative Christian family, as a business owner, he did his best to stay neutral when it came to politics in public – until a close friend of his started working with Todd Huff Radio.

John began listening to Todd Huff Radio and was sold after the first episode he listened to – he immediately fell in love with the fact that the content is conservative, not bitter – and that it focuses on the facts. After listening to a few more shows, he began to think about investing as a sponsor of the show – a big decision for his small, and very selective, advertising budget. A meeting with Todd sealed the deal. John discovered he was just as down to earth and authentic in person as he sounds on the show. While demographics played a role in how much Wards Apparel would spend (they were a perfect match!), the bottom line is that John wanted to help Todd out – and to further the conservative, Christian message he so eloquently brings.
