#117 - Who Brought the Quarters?

Searching for The Antidote to Liberalism? Look no further!

Listen now!

1st Segment: "She's a liar!" chant. The undercover Socialist appears to have beaten the unapologetic Socialist. I may have endorsed a Democrat: Sexy, Sexy, Sexy Martin O'Malley. Democrat results are razor tight. How does O'Malley win 8 precincts? Was O'Malley the difference? Sad day as we say goodbye to O'Malley. A permanent moniker. A brief history: "4 old white guys & a Clinton" to "The Nutty Professor & a possible criminal." Coin toss. A tie is broken. Six wins by coin toss. Odds of winning a coin toss 6 times: 1/64. Smaller fraction than Elizabeth Warren's Native American heritage. Who brought the quarters? Huma Abedin? Polls & turnout. Best turnout ever for Republicans at Iowa Caucus. Republican turnout breaks record.

2nd Segment: Groundhog Day. Punxsutawney Phil's prediction. Spring Fever. Accuracy of Punxsutawney Phil compared to accuracy of a coin toss. Well, as long as a Clinton is involved in the coin toss. GOP gives voters a wide variety of choice with candidates. Democrats are all Socialists - racing to give away enough to win votes. Huckabee drops out. Ted Cruz wins. Marco Rubio has a very solid performance. Ted Cruz leads, but it's still close & there is a long way to go. How is Cruz painted as unlikeable? Conservatives in DC. Ted Cruz waging much needed fights in Senate. We need a fighter to undo the apparatus.

3rd Segment: Still working on iTunes feed issue. Should be working within the next day or so, according to what I've been told. My apologies for this problem. Other ways to listen include: SoundCloud, TuneIn, Stitcher, the website, Learn Out Loud, etc. By changing hosts, it may re-release our show to your feed. I'm sorry for that. Trump finishes second at Iowa Caucus. Gracious in speech. How does this effect Trump moving forward? Does it have any significant impact?

Final Segment: Moving forward politically. New Hampshire on Feb 9. South Carolina on Feb 20. Nevada on Feb 23. Super Tuesday on March 1. Jeb Bush spent $2,884 per vote in Iowa. Still a long way to go in primary season.
