Government shutdown is reaching its climax. Media now reporting on the challenges government employee families are facing because they are not getting a paycheck. These problems are real and need to be fixed. But let us also not forget those families the media could interview who have had loved ones killed by illegal aliens. As of 2011, there were 25,000 illegal aliens serving prison sentences for murder. How is this not a serious problem? Walls/barriers are certainly helpful to secure a border, and saying otherwise is beyond absurd. Of course a wall/barrier also isn’t the only thing we need - and no one ever said it was. Jim Acosta along the southern border is priceless.
